CORSAIR® LOW PROFILE PLATE CARRIER
The CORSAIR® low profile plate carrier is a lightweight, slick and easily concealable ballistic vest. This simple plate carrier was designed to be worn under your clothing without any additional Velcro®, flaps, or any modularity. The CORSAIR® features a fully elastic cummerbund with inner carbine/pistol mag pockets. It’s made entirely of elastic nylon fabric to tightly fit different types of plates, without any unnecessary bulky stitching. This enables it to be concealed under your jacket or even a shirt. Made only in solid colors to blend even more with your everyday clothing – perfect for undercover or covert operations requiring hard ballistic protection (III, III+ to IV standalone*).

Good lightweight slick carrier for plate with/out backer. Sewn in cummerbund has space for rifle and/or pistol mags. Fits 7.62 mags. Only suggestion for improvement would be having removable cummerbund.

Slick, easy to just throw a jacket or shirt over, and its darn near invisible. I am using ESAPIs in it right now, but if one used AR500 plates, it would just about disappear. The cummerbund mag pouches are on point with the industry right now, so that's another great point in favor. One suggestion would be to put a large Velcro field on the front, just to add a small point of modularity for a crossdraw holster for vehicle ops, or med pouch for PSD medics, etc. Like I said, Almost Perfect!

I have used this rig in two training iterations, and so far so good. This is likely the lowest profile rig I have seen as yet, it's definitely the slickest rig I have personally used. The integrated cummerbund mag pouches are the functional standard these days, and this rig is good to go in that regard. If there was one suggestion that I would make to improve this rig it would be to add a large Velcro panel centered on the front to allow whatever a dude wants to put on there...snack pouch, Velcro beer coozie….crossdraw holster for vehicle ops, med pouch for PSD medics, blah blah. Bottom line is that this rig is SO slick that it could actually afford to allow a small amount of modularity of function. But for the price? BUY THIS RIG.

The corsair is an excellent plate carrier to wear when you need protection but you also need to stay low profile. I can easily fit both plate backers and level 4 sapi plates while still staying concealed under a light weight button down or jacket. Nice work!
