Large Hip Panel for MOSQUITO Modular Belt Sleeve allows you to mount pouches lower on the sides of your MOSQUITO modular belt stleeve. It also makes longer pouches more stable. The large panel can also be used as a mounting platform for any pistol holster featuring Safariland® 3-hole mounting system.

I ended up using a Safariland UBL. I could not get the hip panel to cooperate with the other gear I have to carry on my gun side.

Shipping was fast and the hip panel looks to be very well made. However, it did not fit over my 2" gun belt, as the loops/notches on the panel measured only 1 3/4". I'm not sure if the product description is inaccurate or that was a manufacturing error, but customer was friendly and apologetic, and promptly provided a return label. All in all this seems like a good company with good products. As such, I purchased the Mosquito leg panel instead; hopefully it works out.

I can use this on any belt that will go through the slots up top, and gives a very rigid backing to whatever is being looped into the pals. Its actually a good base for a light dump pouch, with enough room to even put a rifle pouch above it.

I personally detest drop leg holsters and rigs. This helps alleviate that frustration by keeping it lower then the belt but off my leg. Others love drop legs and they offer that too but I am glad they have this option for those who find it better suited to not go the drop leg route.
