SPITFIRE MK II Plate Carrier®

When it comes to modern tactical equipment, those not going forward are actually going backwards. We, at Direct Action®, are focused on constant evolution of our products. Thanks to the feedback from users around the world, we were able to create the new, improved version of one of our top products – the SPITFIRE Plate Carrier. The MK II version may look simpler, but in fact it is much more scalable and mission configurable. We've decided to strip down the carrier of unnecessary PALS slots under the flap and on the back as well as enlarge the loop panel on the front for large LE patches. Even more - we've made it lighter than the standard version. Thanks to numerous new flaps, back panels and cummerbunds you are able to make the carrier the way you actually need it.

The build quality on this rig is extremely solid. Well thought out and designed. It's like a JPC on steroids.

High Quality and Extremely Modular Review by Justin O / (Posted on 9/1/2021)
High Quality and Extremely Modular. Price could be better, I feel like it's a little on the high side, but the quality is amazing.

Foundation Review by Hunter E / (Posted on 8/10/2021)
The MKII is a well thoughtout lightweight plate carrier with lots of room for personalization. However the bare bones carrier isn't much without spending money to outfit it. If you strictly want to carry plates comfortably this is a great choice.

In a way, better than most light weight place carriers i've used. Review by Han Yang C / (Posted on 3/25/2021)
It is incredibly customizable, durable and lightweight. However, for some reason the front molle section of my vest wasn't complete flat which is a bummer, but it's just an aesthetic thing, doesn't effect functionality nor durability.

Exceptional carrier Review by Zebadiah T / (Posted on 2/13/2021)
Fit and finish on this carrier is top notch. The materials and stitching are amazing as well. It weighs next to nothing, so depends on what plates and other kit you run to control the pounds. I use multi curve ESAPI and the carrier is true to size. Some other manufacturers back panels can be used as well which is something I lucked into. Last note, shipping is faster than you'd expect.

Modular, comfortable, and quality Review by Seth S / (Posted on 12/29/2020)
I love my spitfire. My buddy has the hellcat which turned me on to these guys products, and I’m very impressed by the fit and finish of this plate carrier. It holds a plate perfectly in the front, and I love the back attachment system for their backpack or other pieces. Awesome kit, 5 stars

Why wouldn't you get the MK1? Review by Brandon D / (Posted on 8/9/2020)
So far I am very pleased with the design and build quality of this PC. The materials are excellent, the stitching in precise, and its fairly comfortable, though I expect it to get moreso when the pads arrive. My only complaint is the open back design. The back molle is mostly gone, so you're limited to zip on panels, and if you add the quick release system, all the working bits are exposed unless you buy a $99 zip panel just to protect them. While priced competitively to its peers, I have to wonder why the MKII exist? DA claims its more modular than the MK1, but I don't see it. Its slightly less expensive than the MK1, but with the missing/downgraded pieces added back, it is nearly twice the price of the MK1 for the same configuration. I only bought the MKII as the original had been out of stock for some time.

Great Base for a gret setup Review by Marc-Aurèle C / (Posted on 1/21/2020)
The plate carrier is a simple base when you get it but it is so easy to personalize and build into the ideal plate that my job requires I recommend it iv'e been using direct action products for 3 years cant recommend enough only thing that prevents me to buy loads of gear is the price of shipping to Canada.
