- Used on Nixieworks LFR for Rifle Class
-
Used for 1 of 3 days running an AK at a 2100 round rifle class. The only time I lost a mag was when I had only 1 in the pouch as I was rolling around behind "cover" suppressing and dealing with malfunctions... and the flap was open so duh.
The pouch did better than me, ez to slap open and close, and keep the pouch on my left open for speed, but it is pretty fast for an closed pouch with practice. 2 ak mags in, open top, and adjusted right they were ez to access and won't fall out. Could even fit 3 ak mags if you loosened it up all the way, but that is slow to get them out.
Webbing up and down the back made it snug and minimal bouncing when running. Top flap doesn't close on it's own, but that isn't necessarially a bad thing. Elastic is protected more than other pouches.
Feeature req 1:
Ability to add a kydex insert in the front and back of the pouch to make it more stiff for re-insertion 1 handed. Reinsertion when set for multiple mags only works 1 handed when you insert behind the other mag, otherwise it folds a bit.
Feature req 2:
Fabric tab tuck or plastic tab/slot closure option (like the russian silent open mag pouches). These would work better for noise, and in muddy conditions after the velcro gets clogged.
May get a couple of these for my belt rig...Price Quality Value - Great Sustainment

Can fit all sorts of equipment, not just mags. Excellent way to bump up the amount of mags you can carry on one rig (fits up to 3 rifle mags), great for feeding into faster mag pouches as needed. Also holds some quad-stack magazines like the Surefire 60 rd.

I needed a mag pouch that could carry 3 on 2 rows of molle. This does that. Cinches down to get out of the way when you need it to.

This pouch is very well constructed and designed, and suits its purpose very well. Its obviously not as fast as single mag pouch, but having the extra capacity is worth the added weight. Not cheap by any stretch, but you get what you pay for and more.
Price Quality Value - D.A. never lets me down

The quality is on par with the best of them, and they don't leave you waiting months for your gear to arrive. These guys are solid!
Price Quality Value - Pretty Good Mag Pouch
-
A little on the expensive side but can hold 3 magazines instead of the usual 2 and can run the pouches open due to the inside of the flap having velcro. Only recommend over a regular mag pouch if you might run 3 magazines instead of 2 and want customization in running open or closed flaps.

Good, but thin molle tab. Would be better with a little thicker and snap molle tab
